  Updated review. Food is still very good, and service friendly. Visited in the late autumn which is off season for Torrey. Very casual lunch somewhat ruined by owner allowing his dog to beg for table scraps. This was probably a quirky thing but....

  This was a very good, casual-but-upscale restaurant. The food was great and the outdoor seating was cool. I didn't order dessert, but the ones being delivered to the tables around be looked amazing.

  Great food, great presentation, slow service
  The sign outside looks very nice and well designed. The building does not look special, and the interior décor is not much to look at. However, the food is amazing. Although we came without a reservation, we were lucky and also very early for dinner (6pm) in October. If we came an hour later, I don't think we would have gotten in without a long wait, so make your reservations. The wild mushroom and spinach salad is beautifully presented and very delicious. The Amarillo Tuna Steak is cooked just right, delicious, and again, beautifully presented. The service, however, is sloooow. I think this was an anomaly of our waitress. We watched as others near us were serviced quicker (normal speed) by another waitress. The prices are also on the high side but the meal is very enjoyable.
