  While on a getaway from the busy life of the city we headed to Torrey UT to enjoy the wonderful sites at Capitol Reef National Park. After a very long day of hiking we stopped at La Cueva (between Torrey and the Park) for a bit of Mexican food. To our surprise we were treated with such care and hospitality by the sweetest waitress with a bounce in her step and with the food being the most authentic in every way possible. Our waitress was very patient with the many questions we had about the dishes on the menu and helped us decide on a dish that was perfect for each of us. We will go out of our way to go to the restaurant any day! They were WONDERFUL! We even got a picture with our waitress!

  Hands down some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. It was all fresh and absolutely yummy. This restaurant is run by two people only, so you have to be a little patient about serving, but the lady is so sweet and as fast as she can. It's literally the best restaurant in Torrey and well worth stopping for.

  Great place to eat while being close to Capital Reef national park. Food is excellent. Look and feel of the place is great with old decor.
